The TrolMaster DSD-1 Dry Contact Station provides a flexible way to control equipment that requires a dry-contact relay signal rather than direct power switching.
The DSD-1 provides both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) relay contacts, making it suitable for a wide range of devices and control applications. It can be used with lighting contactors, pump contactors, light-deprivation curtains, HVAC equipment, humidity equipment, CO₂ devices, alarms and other systems that require a dry-contact closure to activate.
Connected to a compatible TrolMaster controller through the device communication line, the DSD-1 can be assigned to different control functions depending on the application.
The module can also be manually overridden by pressing and holding the onboard button, allowing the connected equipment to be switched ON or OFF when required.
Because the DSD-1 provides an isolated relay contact, the voltage being switched through the dry-contact terminals can be different from the power used to operate the station itself, provided the connected load remains within the rated electrical limits.
This makes the DSD-1 especially useful when integrating TrolMaster controllers with third-party contactors, alarm panels and building-control equipment.
